When I follow the guide I get to step 2. When it opens the client to do the update it just says "Connecting to the server..." and then gives me the error message in the picture... If i press it, it closes the client then opens it again. And will repeat a few times, then it wont do anything anymore, installer gets stuck at "½ÇÇà: "C:\Program Files\lineage\lineage.exe"" and doesnt go any further. Help please? You're having issues connecting to Korean update servers. Try doing these two things:
1) Click the Start orb and in the search type "regional". You will see Change the date, time or number format. Click the "location"tab. Change current location to Korea.
2) change non-Unicode language from English to Korean. For windows 7, Click the Start orb and in the search type "regional". You will see Change the date, time or number format. Open it and click the Administrative tab. Next click Change System Locale. Make this Korea. You will need to restart.
Try again! Hope this helps.

Unfortunately running through a korean locale actually will change minor things on your machine as well, nothing impactfull just for some programs like starcraft 2 and such rather then the programs saying starcraft 2 they will start saying the name in korean for the shortcut, atleast they did for me, but hasnt affected anything so when ya change your locale dont sweat it if it does that.

Once Idol is all setup and working you can put it back on your normal locale/Unicode language permanently. It's just the setup that some folks need to change to Korea/Korea.

When did you download the connector though? The old version does not work and was accidentally being linked for a few days. It was fixed two nights ago to be the correct connector. If you have he old one it simply won't work.

I have this problem too. In fact, even the lineage idol website won't load in a VM.
